The Season 6 finale was one of the worst episodes in show history in my opinion and yet a lot of people loved it (it is one of the highest-rated episodes on tv.com). This episode was pretty mediocre in my opinion and yet I expect the same phenomenon where other users will give it high scores.

Wearing the moustache, the relapse by Charlie and Chelsea, the bickering between the old gay couple, everything just felt really bland and beneath this show (and it is rare that humor is actually beneath this show.) Just not a very good offering at all from such a great show.moreless

I always had my doubts about Charlie and Chelsea's compatibility, but after this episode you have to know she's made for him. She goes to his house. Seduces him! Yes, she seduces him! Then she drops him again the next morning. Boy, she's as fickle as he is. This actually sounds like something Charlie has done in a prior episode to one girl or another, but now the shoe is on the other foot! Talk about crushing. Then when he pursues her again she's back out with that Brad fellow on a date again! The next night!

It was actually a very nice moment in the end with Alan and Charlie until Alan took it too far. Charlie doesn't always follow through on things which is his big fault. Alan on the other hand jumps in with both feet whether he should or not.

Of course the big question here is where is this going? Is this a way of stretching out the Chelsea story and really hammering the Charlie character for a while or are they really trying to move on with this. It would be interesting to see where they really plan on taking the story. With Sheen in rehab I doubt we'll get the completion to the season we were expecting, so I believe this storyline will be going for another season at least. I enjoy the Chelsea character and she does fit in well with the rest of the cast. She sort of completes Charlie, but of course it is much more fun at this point to be stringing him along, but you still have to wonder how long they can maintain that type of plot?

A pretty entertaining episode this week. Tom and Ed are starting to grow on me. We'll see where this all goes in the long run. I actually enjoyed Jake tonight as well! Thanks for reading...moreless
