  • Excellent Season 8 opener for "Two and a Half Men"

    9.5
Jake moves to Judith and Herb's when he learns that Alan's dating his friend Eldridge's mom. Charlie tries to cut back on the alcohol. I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Two and a Half Men". It was an excellent way to really start Season 8. I laughed hard at so many parts watching this episode. My score is only a tad low because I felt like a couple of parts were a little dragged and could have been just a tiny bit better. The beginning of the episode when Alan found Charlie lying on the ground from drinking too much was very funny. Charlie and Alan seeing two girls coming out Jake's room was so super hilarious. Charlie reading the note which had crude and sexual humor mixed in together which was something like "you zip to your balls**k" was so super hilarious. It was also very funny when Berta said if Jake had a threesome. Alan getting out of Lindsay's home and dangling out the window plus the dog chasing after Alan with Jake asking "Was that my dad?" is super funny... I really couldn't stop laughing. More parts made me laugh hard as well. The storyline was done very well, the humor is excellent especially when it came to the crude and sexual jokes, and the characters were all hilarious. Overall, an excellent episode of "Two and a Half Men" that I think fans could enjoy and get a good laugh as well. 9.5/10moreless

  • Charlie "quits" drinking.

    8.5
Okay, so in this episode we have as usual 2 storyline, while Charlie's wasn't much of a sotry such as comic relief, as he says he'll quit drinking butstarts to drink way more than usual.

So Alan is sneaking off form Lynddsey's house when Eldrtich & Jake catch him in the act. Jake, offended that Alan was sleeping with his friends mom, decides to never return to Charlie's. So Alan goes to Judith's to apologize and he doesn't want to go, so Judith yells at him until he just leaves.

Also there was the possiblity that Jake had a threesome. Did he? Title quote: When Alan said they have to learn the truth by taking it from the bud, Charlie, who was talking about how many people are needed for an orgy says "3 girls & a guy named Bud".

Overall: Neat season premiere. Also, no Chelsea! yay1 8.5/10.moreless
  • Season 8 Premiere

    8.5
The season premiere of Two and a Half Men was definitely one of the strongest of the series. I definitely enjoyed the episode all the way through with a lot of twists in the plot and eventful occurrences. Last season finale didn't give us much of a cliffhanger but in this episode, I realized why. This episode was absolutely hilarious from girls sneaking out of Jake's room to Allan climbing down Elridge's mom's window. Ryan Stiles was actually a great addition to this episode, and I really think he should have more scenes on this show. Charlie drinking a beer, and not considering it drinking was absolutely hilarious.

To tell you the truth, when this show came out, I wasn't that interested, but the fact that this show is on it's eighth season and still making people laugh shows how strong this show is, great ending with Jake actually turning out to be with both girls on the same night. Great premiere, will tune in for next week.moreless

The season opener of Two and a Half Men is familiarly funny, Alan never gets things to go his way, Charlie drinks a lot and Jake is a sarcastic little brat, but while there was a good number of laughs throughout the 9 PM broadcast, this reviewer cannot ignore the fact that this was a pretty thin plot. Alan was trying to cover up his relationship with Lindsey, but when Jake found out, nothing came of it. It almost seemed like an SNL sketch with the way the episode had no real ending.

They managed to get Herb in there though, and he is always funny, but I was not overly impressed with the opener.moreless
