Well it's been decided. We're gonna have a remach of 2005's final. Here's the thread to talk about it and also vote for who you think that will win it.

Before last night I would have thought Liverpool would have beaten Milan quite easy but it turns out Milan are pretty good. So i dunno, they may be after revenge for 2005.

Hmm, I seem to remember Milan winning the game before it had even started in Istanbul. We even gave them a three-goal start. Milan should not even be in the tournament - they are cheating Italian scum. It's not even the first time they been caught; they were 'done' for the same thing in 1981. Same with Inter the year before - one of their fans threw a flare which hit Dida. ban? No, just a fine and ground closure, after all, they are Italian.

This is an honest English team against cheating foreigners. I'll bet U.E.F.A. will be quietly supporting the Reds.

a man utd supporter myself, but yes i want liverpool to win ofcourse.....HOWEVER it will not be easy, and liverpool loosing to a team like fulham (fighting for relagation) doesnt seem to be a confident side, and there seem to be a few injury problems......HOPEFULLY liverpool can still win it

AC Milan's defender Alessandro Costacurta will join the team's staff at the end of the season = retiring

Someone sent this to me yesterday:

    Athens

    Paris

    Rome

    Istanbul

    London

    1 + 5 = 6

April 15th, the day 96 of our fans were murdered by an incompetent policeman who despite retiring through "ill health", is still alive and well. It's weird how these things work out.

Well festival and random celebrations started today in Athens, with former captain of Greek national team Theodoros Zagorakis presenting the Champions League trophy.

    I'm not surprised by Milan's line-up in today's 2-3 defeat by Udinese...

Storari, Bonera, Simic, Favalli (Darmian), Grimi (Guerci), Brocchi, Costacurta (Di Gennaro), Gourcuff, Serginho; Borriello, Oliveira

    Exactly my point

In other news, Liverpool's team is awaited tomorrow afternoon, to arrive in Athens Zenden is doubtful and the possible option for the left flank would Arbeloa in back and Riise in left midfield.

What about Harry Kewell, my flatmate is a Liverpool fan and he seems to think that Kewell will play.

I think Kewell isn't 100% ready to play a full match, so possibly he'll get in at 2nd half if needed.
