    • Trivia

      ADD TRIVIA
      • In the frozen SHADO control room, Straker says that "they should have had Skydiver over the base by now". However, Skydiver is a submarine and theres no way for it to get to the base, never mind over it. The correct term would have been "Sky One", as in the flight capable vessel that is part of a Skydiver. Edit
      • This is the first and only episode where we see a SHADO entrance other than Straker's office, which makes sense since all the other personnel need some other way to get in and out. Edit
    • Notes

      ADD NOTES
      • Actor Ron Pember's last name was misspelled as Bember in the episodes ending credits (as reflected above). Edit
    • Quotes

      ADD QUOTES
      • Straker: They may be years ahead of the human race, but we've got one thing they haven't: bloody-mindedness. It built this planet. Edit
      • Turner: They're marvelous, Straker. They're brilliant. They can do things we can't even conceive. Have you any idea what they've done here, Straker? They've taken a millionth of a second of our time and frozen it. This whole thing is taking place in a millionth of a second, Straker. That's why Moonbase doesn't know anything's wrong. Compared to them, we're midgets, Straker, all of us. Edit
      • Colonel Lake: What is that stuff? Straker: X-50. Speeds you up to ten times normal. Heart, muscles, brain, coordination. They used it a lot in the early high-G test flights. Finally banned it as being too dangerous. Colonel Lake: Why? Straker: Well, it burned people out. If we weren't under the Evil Eye now, we'd be moving so fast we'd be just a blur. Edit
