  • This week the useful and very fun. I saw a little more on Daniel's, Alexis's, Betty's and Hilda's character.

I think the way Mark stood up for Amanda when her boyfriend was totally mean to her in front of everyone was as much niiicceee as I we'll ever see from Mark. And it kinda shows Amanda has quite low self-esteem. I wander what wil happen to Daniel. Obviously he won't die but the last scene showed him opening a door and people came in and started bashing him up. My favourite part was Hilda trying to find the right wedding dress and how this heater lady came to Betty and told her she's gonna spend the rest of her life happy. Why can't we have more of this.moreless
  • South of the Border fun!(if you want to call it fun)

This epiosde of "Ugly Betty" is when Betty and her fam,ily goes down to MNexico to get a US visa for her father. but that's not the only thing in this week's epiosde. Back up to New York city, Alexis ran into a old love intrest. Another woman. Expect a girl on girl smooching. Two actresses I'm watching for the past couple of weeks is coming in their own. Becki Newton is getting good and Vassena Williams is getting sexier by each passing week. Next week the season finale where it comes together. With Betty in the middle, anything can happen.moreless
  • I am very dissapointed at Salma Hayek. As a mexican, watching a show produced by another mexican, I would've expected Mexico to be seen a lot different.

I got so dissapointed at Ugly Betty and at Salma Hayek after this episode. As a mexican I would've expected Mexico to be seen more than a desert and an ugly old town full of bean-eaters. This show was so good at lifting the image of latins in America, and now it goes back again to play the typical steriotypes. To begin with, Jalisco, the state in which Guadalajara is located, is one of the richest states in Mexico, Guadalajara itself is a great city that ask nothing from LA, San Diego, Seattle, Minneapolis or so many others in the US, the state has no desert at all!! it is very green!!! with jungle, and beautiful beaches... then why the hell did they portrait Jalisco like that?!?!?!?!!?!

Maybe Salma is busy playing a gringa-wannabe, because she definitelly forgot her roots. Mexico is not like it was on Ugly Betty!!! It is a great and beautiful country!!!!moreless
  • not sure where this is going...

So Ugly Betty is getting a bit campy for me. I loved the part with Jordan (Alex’s ex) coming back and getting caught between the brothers, oops, brother and sister. And that goodbye kiss…awww. I loved the two seconds of the Fah Haggus and the sod off. That had me laughing for a while. I liked that Marc will always be there for his Mandy. Bradford becoming Brad was a little scary. The part that I didn’t like was all the silliness of Mexico. The weird healer woman, Betty thinking that she was seeing Henry, finding out that Betty and Hilda’s grandmother was alive and randomly running into some guy that new the situation and alerts some mysterious person that Ignacio is back. It’s almost too much.moreless
  • Not completely a filler but nothing huge happened. Spoilers!

This episode, although somewhat empty, holds some really beautiful moments. When Betty is mistaken for Rosa, and Yolando tells her she loves her and life should be about fighting for love I started crying and I am beyond excitement to see Betty go after Henry like we've been waiting for for SO LONG! However we have been getting information that in the season finale we lose a Suarez and (although many of you probably guessed) We now know who it will be (ignacio) , but we don't know by who or why yet.

The lesbian(ish) kissing moment kind of caught me off guard AND Daniel is being attacked by the hitmen who we though she was hiring to kill Bradford. So confusing, the season finale is going to be gut wrenching and waiting a whole week for it will kill me!

Amanda realises she deserve much better than a man who keeps her a secret and after Marc stands up for her like the friend he is they discover the love dungeon! Classic Betty episode with a good few twists right at the end to get us hooked for the final episode. Can you wait?!moreless

    • Betty: (to Hilda) You know you were a lot smarter before you got engaged.

    • Wilhemina: (going through Tavares's collection) Burn it, burn it, O..O..O
Tavares: (whispers to Amanda) Is that good or bad?
Amanda: I don't know. She's never used the 'Triple O'.
      Marc: It's bad.
Wilhemina: Tavares, I'm sure you thought putting coconut shell buttons on this jacket was adventurous, but you've just murdered a blazer.
      Marc: Murderer!
