  • Just how far will Wilhelmenia Slater go to succeed as a fashion editor?

Whilst I agree with the other reviews that product placement is dissapointing and takes the edge of the usually funny show, I did enjoy watching Gio take an interest in Betty. Whilst I do like the Henry/Betty relationship, Gio seems to bring out a new side of Betty. And it's clear that he's interested. For a moment I thought Alexis and Daniel's relationship was going to change and evolve into a more grown up one, but in the end Alexis still had to win. Who knows what will happen now Wilhelmenia is still plotting against Mode.

But let's face it, Wilhelmenia is at her best when she's plotting more evil plans - love the twist at the end! Can't wait to see what happens.moreless
  • Hilarious

It was a really funny episode, I think I laughed more times in this episode than in any other Ugly Betty episode, which is saying a lot because I often find the inside jokes really funny.

Betty and Henry go through some problems when Gio shows up, but with Hilda. Betty finally realizes that she has very little time left with Henry and she pushes for them to do different things, but Henry just isn't feeling it.

Alexis and Daniel try to settle who gets to be the chairman or chairwoman of MODE and they use a very creative way to settle their argument. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina is having problems getting people to invest in her magazine, but as people say, plan B is already in works.moreless
  • Pointless.

    3.6
I felt that this episode was really boring as nothing really exciting happened in it.

Henry and Betty go on a double date with Hilda and Gio which turns out to be a pointless night, all that happens is that Hnery finds it in his heart to love Betty more, but it takes him almost the entire episode to figure that out, which gets really boring. The storyline of Gio was bring and useless - he took Hilda out on a date, but apparently likes Betty? In my words, seems pointless and effortless. I loved the fight between Daniel and Alexis fighting who was going to be in charge of Mode.... that's all that enthused me with this episode....moreless
  • Betty White gets both angry and even!

    8.0
A double date? Dull! Perhaps a painball match between brother and sister over who will control Mode. Sure Amanda fell in love with someone she hated, but I hope she made the right choice. She's one of my favorite characters. The main event of this epiosde is Wilhelmina trying to be sweet and good. Not until she push Betty White out of the way to get a cab. Betty got hurt in the process. Betty white's performance could get her an Emmy nod for best Guest Actress in a Comedy. The painball plot works very well as well. New episode in January. Remember we got this strike. "Ugly Betty" could say goodbye in January if the strike isn't settled.moreless
  • Not my favorite episode, but decent...

    8.8
Ugly Betty was really good and cute. I'm glad that Henry and Betty were all right at the end but i sort of enjoyed it when they weren't exactly getting along. Seeing him dance was funny. The whole plot with Gio was funny and I liked how at the end of the episode, Hilda told Gio that she didn't think that she was the Suarez that he liked... Wilhelmia and Marc were funny also in this episode. Slater magazine wasinteresting and it was hilarious when theie people weren't getting paid and quit. Also, Wilhelmina's feud with the other woman wassooo funny! The ending was a bit gross with her asking the medical examiner ti take sperm from Mr. Meade's body and then impregnate herself with it.moreless
