  • I enjoyed it.

A number of things happened on this episode of Ugly Betty, but I guess what I should focus on is the pregnancy bit. Well, with two pregnant characters on the show, it isn't really very hard to center an episode around pregnancy. We have Charlie, who Betty suddenly feels she should approach differently and we also have Christina, who find out something she probably wish she hadn't.

After Santos died, Hilda never really moved on relationship wise, but in this episode, she might have just sparked a new lover interest.

Amanda was really entertaining in this episode, she never fails to make me laugh.moreless
  • The end of Benry

After Charlie does everything with in her power to stop henry and betty from being together, charlie has her baby, but not before Betty throws Charlie a baby shower. After giving Daniel advice on doing things differently, Betty decides to take her own advice and help out charlie with her baby shower, in the hopes that she would her spend more time with Henry. Daniel, after breaking up with renee, he starts sleeping around again, which then starts to affect his work. Claire, Betty and Alexis push for Daniel to see a psychiatrists, which he sleeps with. Meanwhile Christina finds out who the father of the child is.

Overall good episode, will miss the Benry scenes but what can you do. Oh and hilda gets a crush on Coach Bennet, Justins PE teachermoreless
  • Gym Dandy!

this week's episode is not as good as the previous episode. Betty throws thomas a baby shower for his preagant girlfriend. Well if youn throw a shower for someone who is preagant, you know what happs next, well thomas' girlfriend goes into labor and gives birth. I know about these things ahead of time. Which is why I label this episode "Painful to Watch," because when it comes to birthing scenes, it's a pain to watch. In other news, Hilda protested to Justin's teacher for a failing gym class. either that or get a date with the gym teacher. christina learns who she is carrying for.moreless
  • charlie is getting in the way of betty and henry and betty tries to make things better by being charlie's friend; meanwhile, hilda has to deal with justin's gym teacher

im sorry if i offend anyone and for anyone who hasnt seen this ep yet i will have some spoilers..this was one of the worst eps not only of this season but also of the show..i am a big time betty and henry fan..i like the idea of them together and i still pray that its not really henrys..when betty realized she lost him i was about to cry and i was screaming at the tv..if only the writers did throw this roadblock..i hate was so horrible to did not like this ep..the only thing i did like was hilda and the gym teacher and i hope they expand on thatmoreless
  • Betty tries to make nice with Charlie. Tries being the operative word here.

With so little time left, Betty attempts to throw Charlie a baby shower in hopes that they'll start to get along and Betty will be able spend the rest of the 3 weeks that Henry has left in NY without opposition from Charlie. Of course, it snowballs and Betty ends up biting off more than she can chew. She has tamales being flown in from Tucson, party plates have to be ordered, people invited, and a hilarious Amanda trying to use reverse psychology to get Betty to invite her. She also has to deal with Daniel unravelling after Renee is recommitted, Hilda's new crush, Christina's pregnancy, and trying to spend time with Henry. The day of the party, Henry promises that they'll find a way to see each other, and a jubilant Betty ignores Claire's advice to end a relationship that is going nowhere (I cheered as she gave Betty's arm a pinch and finally told her what has become painfully obvious), and her father warning her that once someone becomes a parent, no one else can be more important. Charlie's ingratitude and her demanding nature were the straws that broke Betty's back and she finally let's Charlie have it with both barrels, possibly being the catalyst for Charlie going into labor. As Henry joins them and Charlie gives birth, Betty tears up as she realizes that Claire and her father were right, Henry now belongs with his son and Charlie and no matter what his intentions are, there isn't going to room in his life for her.

Daniel isn't dealing with his break up with Renee very well and drowns himself in the company of other women. When Betty persuades him to go to therapy, he flirts as a defense mechanism, then as he opens up and shows his vulnerability, the therapist jumps him, then accuses him of seducing her. He finally finds some balance and meaning to his life after chatting with Betty's dad and rededicates himself to the magazine.

Hilda begins an awkward and painful (for him) crush on Justin's gym teacher. It was funny, yet poignant as she realizes that she has become attracted to someone for the first time since Santos had died.

Cristina had to deal with a revelation that showed yet another dimension to Wilhemina's evil, and managed to show compassion and grace.

It was a good episode, and even though I've been waiting for Betty to realize that her relationship with Henry can't continue with him and his new son and baby mama living all the way over in Tucson while she stayed in New York, it was heart wrenching to see her heart breaking as she witnessed the family scene with Henry, the baby and Charlie, knowing that this was the end of her and Henry.

    Gio's turn now!

    • Justin: This is all getting very Sweeney Todd now.

This is a reference to Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, a Broadway musical (1979) and movie (2007) about a barber bent on revenge.
