Inside the brown book cover Betty finds on her desk is written 'For all your GREAT IDEAS at MYW (sic)'.
When Betty is talking to Hilda about the dream she had about Henry, she is pouring a glass a milk, when she is pouring the 2nd glass, she turns to yell at Hilda and she now has two glasses in her hands.
When Betty is talking to Daniel about his potential new assistant, he gives Betty a present, she has a glass of champagne in her hands but when the camera changes it's gone.
When Betty ran into Henry after talking with Amanda, the amount of fake snow on Betty's hair changes notoriously.
Marc's last name, St. James, is revealed for the first time in this episode.
When Marc is in the elevator with a stranger, he presses a button to enter the MODE office for the Christmas party. When they arrive and both leave the elevator to attend the party, you can see the button still lit up - the light should have gone out when they arrived at the destination.
Daniel: I know it's real, Sofia. I love you.
Sofia: Oh Daniel, what do you know from love? Your heart racing, palms sweating, can barely breathe when you see me?
Daniel: Actually, yeah. All of that.
Sofia: Well, that's not love. That is hormones, infatuation, good sex.
Henry: Just the girl I've been looking for!
Betty: Oh, no. I'm sure there's other girls!
Henry: It's about the party, I'm managing the budget.
Betty: Oh.
Henry: I guess that means I'll be on top of you for the next couple of days! ...party wise!
Christina: (drunkenly to Santa) A heart for Wilhelmina, courage for Marc, and a brain for Amanda!
Walter: How come your Christmas lights spell "Hilda sucks"?
Marc: Are you packing heat?
Amanda: (being coy) Always!
Marc: Amanda, I'm not flirting with you! Does anyone here have a gun?
Amanda: Look around, we're a bunch of unstable, hungry backstabbing b*tches. Do you think anyone would really sell us guns? Relax! Have a drink.
Marc: That's easy for you to say, your boss doesn't want you dead!
Hilda: Who moved all of our decorations?!
Justin: And what's Santa doing to that elf?
Hilda: This has the skank prints of Gina Gambarro all over it.
Justin: Well you did run over her Christmas tree. And Christmas is a time of love and forgiveness.
Hilda: Grow up Tiny Tim. This means War!
Amanda: What is the first thing I ever said to you?
Betty: Are you the before?
Amanda: OK, the second thing?
Betty: (gesturing in mock sign language at the same time) Are you delivering something?
Amanda: Whatever.
Marc: Ho ho ho!
Wilhelmina: You're late.
Marc: Love the crystal menorah next to the sterling silver Santa – so taboo!
Ignacio: That girl has the vocal cords of a large cat.
Hilda: (from the next room) I heard that!
Ignacio: And the ears of whatever animal hears best.
Amanda: I have a brain to go with this beautiful body.
Gina: (to Hilda) You better watch out. I know when you are sleeping. I know when you are awake.

At the beginning of the episode, we are told that three weeks have passed since the last episode.
The man Wilhelmina hires is named Pennette. This is probably after the show's script writer Marco Pennette.
Hilda: Grow Tiny Tim, this means war!
Tiny Tim is a fictional character in the classic story A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. He is the son of Bob Cratchit.
Episode Title: Fake Plastic Snow
"Fake Plastic Snow" is a slight variation on "Fake Plastic Trees," a song from Radiohead's album The Bends.
Amanda: You know who would be perfect for that job?
Marc: Anne Hathaway?
Anne Hathaway starred in the movie The Devil Wears Prada, which some people compare to Ugly Betty, as a girl who works at a fashion magazine, but doesn't quite fit in.
