    I was just watching the episode with Patti Lupone as Marc's mother, and she was "Mrs. Wiener". Did Marc change his last name? I thought it was St James!

    That's a good question.... cause Amanda definitely says "Mrs." ...maybe she remarried and Marc has a Mr. Stepdad Weiner.

    In the audio commentaries for the episode they say that in a deleted scene Betty asks Marc: "I thought your last name was St. James?" Marc answers: "I had to change it. A gay kid named Weiner? I wanted to beat myself up."

    Ya St. James isn't his real last name at some point he meets another character with a St. last name and he asks if its his real last name to which the guy says yes confusedly and Marcreplies"oh me too" before the guy guesses that its not.
