When the doctor transfers the fertilized egg into Christina's womb, we see a one celled egg on the monitor, quickly growing to multiple cells. When a woman undergoes in vitro fertilisation, the fertilized egg (zygote) has already grown to 6-8 cells.
On Betty's desk, she keeps her pencils in a coffee mug that says "Wicked" from the play she and Henry seen in the episode 'Something Wicked Comes This Way'.
(After Wilhemina offers her $100,000 to carry her baby)
Christina: I'm sorry, but my uterus is officially closed to devil's spawn!
Alexis: Betty's right! We're the face of our mother's defense. The jury needs to see us as... just regular folk.
Daniel: ... says the Amazon transsexual.
Marc: Look, I do a lot of morally questionable things for Wilhelmina, but none of it is technically criminal. And it's all in service of my career.
Amanda: Oh, and suddenly you don't work for me?
Marc: Actually, I never did.
Amanda: No, when you first got to Mode.
Marc: You were the receptionist.
Amanda: Yeah, and after that.
Marc: You were still the receptionist.
Amanda: I was never a tiny bit higher than you?
Marc: Not for one minute!
Ignacio: Think Betty, is there anything you've done, anything you've eaten differently in the last few days?
Betty: No! No, I... I haven't... I just... just the food at home and... I did have one of Gio's sandwiches.
Gio: Eh! My sandwiches are all natural!
Hilda: As soon as the blood work comes back, we'll know what's going on. Oh my God, would you listen to this? I could so be on an episode of Grey's Anatomy right now!
Justin: I miss Addison so much.
Hilda: I know! Why'd she have to go do that Private Practice thing?
Wilhemina: According to my doctor, my eggs are fine. But, uhm, I can't carry the baby.
Marc: It's tragic. Bono and Sheryl Crow should do a benefit concert for her lady parts.
Betty: Thank you, Amanda. You did the right thing. Feels good, doesn't it?
Amanda: Aw, it'll pass.
Betty: I don't do drugs! I'm afraid of espresso!
This is the second episode to start at the climax of the episode, and then flash-back to what happened earlier.
