How it begins is fun and exciting, everyone is greeting everyone back, and to Betty it's in a nice way, to the others, the none fashion geek is back. I have to admit, although, they don't like her that much, somehow when we watch the show we get an impression that they do like her somewhere inside their little, evil, fashion since hearts. Daniel comes back, not looking like when he left. Alexis is trying to figure out something she could use to destroy her fathers reputation yet again, and free her mother from jail. Wilhelmina, is still figuring out how to get on the fathers good side, and as said, desperate times call for desperate measures; even if she needs to use a secret, [Fay's diary!] Betty although notices that her life is surrounded by Daniel, even on her fun occasions and her fashion friend decides to take her out to a club for fun. When she sees Daniel and suspects a no good Author who wants to publish an evil story about the Meades family, Betty yet again try's to save Daniel, before anything goes wrong. Which leads to an argument between the two friends that leaves Betty knowing that she needs to punch out! [not meaning being fired or quitting; just wanted to quickly point that out] and Alexis finds out there's more to her fathers feelings for her then she thought.moreless

It must hvae been a good episode because it did envolke some emotion in that the fact i was so frustrated with the fact that it had come full cicle, daniel is back to womanising, "willie" is still trying to get her hands on the company and Bradford is being seduces by someone who is so see thru she might as well be a pain of glass (fey summers anyone). Shows that that "lessons" other characters have learned have been fruitless in an attempt to create more of a stronger story to keep it going.moreless

Poor Betty, I mean Daniel was really mean to her and he shouldn't have been. She was just trying to protect him against this weird journalist. And Christina is not her friend anymore either. I think she has lost everything that made her have fun at MODE. I can't wait to see the next episode :D WOOHOO GUADALAJARA. Now let's hope she'll get back on her feet. I liked how she reacted at the end when Daniel called for her and she said that she wasn't working. That's really courageous and I think Daniel will regret it in the near future.moreless

Poor Betty – she has done everything for Daniel and yes she was a little over bearing, but she only ever had his best intentions in mind. And also poor Betty for finding out all that stuff about Christina. I know Christina never thought it would go as bad or as far as it did. And most people wouldn’t fault her for what she did, but it still sucked for Betty to find out. I am glad that the whole immigration thing is finally starting to get resolved, I feel like this has drawn on a bit long. This season has defiantly gotten better in my opinion.moreless

Betty tries to leave the office behind but it keeps coming back to haunt her as the office politics grow more complicated.

It's about time the show addressed Betty's constant need to watch Daniel at all times and it did so in fine fashion. The comedy of her in the club was good but mixed with the drama of her unkowningly hurting that guy's feelings, which is too bad as they seemed a good match. The big moment, of course, was Christina revealing her deal with Willhemina which seems to ruin their friendship. It hurt watching as they get along so well but you can understand Betty's reluctance to give her a second chance after that. The stuff with the case worker seemed a bit too silly but they did make it work with her confessing her sadness at being so entwined in people's lives only to have them move on. Ignacio was good helping her through it and showing how good a man he is.

The Mode stuff with Will and Amanda vying for the job as Alexis' assistant was wild but I did like Alexis finding out how her father really felt about her. It's a great move that just when you're ready to paint her as a villian, she makes you feel sorry for her and Rebecca does a great job balancing all that.

Then we end with Daniel and personally, I like this plot. When the mother was talking about the girl's cover, I liked it; all this time it was the player being played just to get her a cover shot. Of course, there's the big twist that the girl is underage and it'll be a tough sell making Daniel more sympathetic after (unwittingly or not) he's committed staturary rape. Then again, one can argue he had it coming and it was a great ironic touch that Betty takes his advice and refuses to help right away at the end.

So we return with more secrets, lies and relationship shifts, meaning more wild fun to come.moreless
