When Bianchi insists that Betty meet him at a posh restaurant, she gets a makeover but things don't quite turn out as planned. In the meantime, Bradford tries to get his hands on Fey Sommers' death car and Wilhelmina primps for a big date.moreless

The first two episodes were really great. Funny, moving, adventurous etc. And I thought that the third episode wouldn't be as good as the previous two. But I was definately wrong. This is one of the best episodes so far and greater than the pilot or "The Box and the Bunny". The dialogues are more hilarious and witty than ever, the plot is genius and funny, the performances once again brilliant... Marco Pennette -the writer- is one of the best writers of the series and James Hayman -the director- probably their best director and it's a shame they both have left now. And this is the first, great sample of their comporation.moreless

This episode was okay. It was good with good plot lines but none of that edge of your seat stuff. Betty trys to help Daniel live up to his dead brother Alex's shadow, but when she finds Vincinet Biannci, she's told Alex and him got into a fight and he swore never to work with a Meade again. Her father, Ignacio, tells her that he lived 4 blocks away and he had his number. Betty calls him and they hit it off quick, but he hangs up on her when she mentions she works for Daniel Meade. Apparently he changes his mind, because he calls MODE and asks Daniel for Betty. Vincint wants to meet both Betty and Daniel for lunch. Betty paicks because she and Vincint never met face to face and she thinks he is expecting a real pretty, skinny girl. Plus, Daniel told her to dress up for the lunch. Hilda helps Betty look like that, but as Whillimina said "Change isn't always for the better. In some cases, it could make a bad situation even worse." So Betty tells Daniel to bring along Amanda while she crys in the woman's bathroom at MODE. Daniel does that, but things become disasterous. Amanda knows nothing about Queens or anything in it and that's al Vincint wants to talk about. Not until she notices that Daniel left something behind does she run to the reastaurant and give it to him. She almost doesn't get inbecase the guard doesn't believe she's Daniel's assistant. luckily Daniel hears her yelling and tells the man to let her in. Vincint wasn't suprised when he was told that Amanda wasn't Betty. He said "Common gimmie credit. This girl has bever been near a sausage sandwich in her life." So Betty and Vincint meet and he never cared about image like everyone else. He liked her cause she was nice and normal and from Queens to make things even better. After lunch, Vincint calls and says he wants to work for MODE. Whillimina hears and she is SOO mad. She starts tearing the room up and breaking things. HA! HA! She hasn't broken Daniel yet!moreless

Cinderella Makeover

I think my favorite part of the episode was when Betty yelled at Marc and threatened to punch him. I'm glad that Betty was able to save the day with her Jackson Heights connections. I think what I actually didn't like was Betty's willingness to change herself so quickly. Hilda tried to change her in the beginning of the episode and she said no, but as soon as Daniel told her snazzy herself up a bit she caved in completely. Like the dual scenes of Betty and Wilhemina's makeover though, but I have to say the end product on Betty was a little scary, esp the hair.

Daniel proved to himself that he could do something better than his brother, let's hope that he keep moving forward. It was nice of him to try to make Betty feel better in the bathroom. I think they will have a good working relationship when he lets himself be human and looks past appearances, he knows Betty is an asset.moreless

This is an excellent episode, better than the last one. Betty uses her queens connections to get Daniel a meeting with big time photographer Vincent Bianchi, in hopes that he will do a spread for MODE. She gets a makeover, which ends up going completley wrong. Vince wanted her to come to the restraunt lunch meeting but since her makeover went wrong, Daniel brings along Bradford and Amanda, who pretends to be Betty. Vincent can tell that Amanda isn't Betty, a queens girl. Back at MODE, Betty realizes that Daniel has left the proposal in his office. Betty comes to the restrautn and saves the day, Vincent realizes she's the real Betty and decides to gave Daniel a spread at MODE. Great.moreless

Not as great as last weeks terrific episode but it was really entertaining and really fun to watch. Betty gets a makeover! I personally think that she looks better without all of the new stuff she has done and thank God that she changes back to her old self. Betty gets a top class photographer who was enemies with MODE. Betty went to the same school as him and I thought that it was very cute how they were comparing notes. The new photographer was really nice because he wanted to see the real Betty and accepted her even though she wasn't like the restmoreless
