  • The first unspectular episode Betty which gets extra marks for the introduction of Claire Meade.

    "Fair"
A pretty silly episode that had little purpose other than to introduce Claire Meade, sure we discovered Daniel's womanizing has consequences and Wilheimena has become a woman of 'a certain age' but these storylines felt very 'filler' and leftover. It was entertaining of course and had one or two laughable moments but it wasn't on the same league as the 3 episodes before it. The Walter storyline becomes increasingly annoying episode by episode and in this episode it kind of hit a boiling point and you just can't help despise his character. Henry and Betty's date felt like it happened very wrong and should have been delayed a few episodes but it still induced good character development. This episode certainly isn't the best episode of Ugly Betty but watching it you realize this would be a great episode for any other comedies and for it to be considered 'filler' is certainly saying something about the quality of humor and plots on this show.moreless

  • Not better than the previous 'Fey's Sleigh Ride' episode but as exciting as every Ugly Betty episode.A perfect acting again from America Ferrera.

    "Great"
It's the halloween episode but i thought it would be more related with the holiday than it was but never mind Ugly Betty again gave us the excitement and the pleasure we want.
Betty's dressed as a bee is an amazing turn again showing her unique characteristics. She is very good trying to decide Henry of Walter.Betty hooking up to Henry is one of the best storylines because they are so cute together and they are may be the newest It couple for television known for their spefic awakard conversations.
I think Amanda was great that episode showing a great range of her character-the always ready to humiliate Betty Amanda and the sharing with Betty Amanda. This episode truly showed us that Amanda is not only a sexy evil doll but she has human feelings too.
Claire Meade was also lovely today competing with Wilhelmina for the spot of the villain of the epiosde.
Wilhelmina's attempts to loose wight and her weight promblems showed us again the cruel fashion world. She is amazing during her monologue about the fashion later in the episode.
The Suarez family gave us the perfcet Halloween that we want showing to the audience how the normal people celebrate the holiday while the fashion world is not.
    A normally exciting Ugly Betty's episode.moreless

  • Claire Meade and Amanda

    "Good"
This episode is noteworthy to me because we find out that Amanda really is in love with Daniel. We finally get to meet Daniel's mother, CLaire, who I myself love very much. I have only seen the first few episodes but I have caught some of the end ones in reruns and I gotta tell ya I love that lush. She is very supportive and I love seeing the mom from Who's the Boss in such a different light.
Also this had the first real Betty and Henry crush dynamics happening and I like them as a couple. They aren't quite a power couple or anything, but they are so cute together.
Also loved Marc's Betty costume (as terrible as it was) and Wilhemina's reaction to it.moreless

A really special episode, which shows just what Ugly Betty is about and we also get to see the softer side of Amanda as well. It's halloween and betty has a very adventure filled Halloween. Her day doesn't start off very well, when she comes into work dressed up as a butterfly for the fake MODE costume contest. Then, Daniel wants her to go and get his watch. He knows he left it at a girl's apartment that he slept with that week, trouble is he slep with a different woman every night of the week and can't remember the friday girl. She travels round the city looking for his watch and arrives back at MODE empty-handed, only to discover that Amanda had it all along, the girl that Daniel couldn't remember. Meanwhile, Daniel visits his Mom in rehab and discusses his father.moreless

    "Great"
It's Halloween in the show, Betty's dad is really fun to do all of that to their house and pull those funny practical jokes. Marc was so cruel to Betty, even though not directly because he dressed up exactly like her for Halloween. I have to admit that it was such a clever idea and was so funny! I really don't want Betty to get back together with Walter. They were going out for 4 years and he cheats on her and then she has lunch with another guy and he gets pissed off about it? Go figger! I hope Daniel learnt a lesson and I hope that Amanda gets with him for real, I really like her personality!moreless
