  • "Fraking" good one.

    9.5
Above all else, that fact that Wilhelmina actually used the word "frak" was totally hilarious. As a Battlestar Galactica fan, I fell out of my chair when I heard her say that. I also replayed it several times just to make sure my ears weren't deceiving me. Then a couple more just to be sure. I hope frak ends up in the lexicon of other shows.

That's more than likely the reason I'm rating this one so high. Still it was another great installment with viscous back biting and no-holds-barred deal making. I seriously doubt Wilhelmina is going to even bother to mention about the child, especially since she now has 50% of the company. Besides, she still has other plans with Connor.

The Betty side of things were a bit less interesting but still non-the-less impactful. The paintings were a total surprise and very interesting (deer with braces). How Hilda spilled the beans about her pregnancy was priceless! Poor Pappy. And while Mark's dilemma was interesting, it was more of filler at the moment. There's a lot more left to come on that note "quack, quack".

Ugly Betty continues to be one of the best shows on TV and is chugging right along on all cylinders. I'm glad they moved it to a better time slot and continue to look forward to another great season.moreless
  • Quite interesting, but not the best.

    9.5
This is quite an exceptional build-up episode, and I think it is leading up for something special next week, or in the coming weeks. However, on its owne, it wasn't exactly the best of r the greatest episode, which was the only let-down and the only criticism I have for this episode.

Overall, I have to say that many storylines developed nivcely. I was laughing my head off when I saw the cvarious portraits of Betty on exhibit, and I found that to be extremely hilarious! Amazing job!

I also thought htat the episode was quite funny at various moments.

Overall, I'd recommend it as a good lead-up episode, but on its own, not very amazing.moreless
