Adrian Dickson began this new show in 2002, counting down The official UK Chart with Radio 1. In 2003, the show proved a hit so was given an extra half hour, now aired at 6 not 6:30 and he was joined by Blue Peter presenter Konnie Huq who left the show with him in November 2004. Since then the show got a new look and has being fronted by CBBC presenter and Byker Grove star Andrew-Hayden Smith. The new look wasn't liked. Andrew stood in front of a green screen with horrible flashing images behind him. So on Sunday 12th June 2005, The UK Top 40 is due to finish forever!moreless
