  • A Halloween themed episode that rises above the level of average and gives viewers a fun filled 30 minutes of action!

I know people are going to think I am crazy for liking this episode so much but trust me it works. There are some really outlandish things happening in Halloween Night. For example, its an entirely Halloween themed episode. GUTS goes and investigates strange things happening in a town that celebrates Halloween every year (they even comment all of Japan doesn't) and while there they encounter, an evil witch. That's right the main villian is an evil witch. Well is disguised as an evil witch. Some fans may be put off by that but I think it's highly amusing.

Not only is the villian a witch but all the kids are dressed up and Captain Iruma (who quietly decides to stay behind) orders all the members of GUTS to go investigate, in costume. This gives the viewer some quite good solid laughs as they see people like Munakata dressed up as Frankenstein or Daigo as a pumpkin guy. Very fun stuff.

When the villian finally reveals itself, Giranbo is anther seijin like villian with lights and a somewhat out of place drill hand. Interestingly the feet of Giranbo resemble the witches hat in someways. Giranbo displays an impressive amount of abilities during it's fight with Tiga including teleportation and mirage casting. Also highly amusing is the witches cackle it gives during the fight. Great Stuff!

Solid story, great villian, solid acting and amusing antics and some pretty decent effects make this a Halloween hit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED VIEWING. I totally think the kids will dig this one!moreless
