  • Finding it's footing

Stuck through it after the first few episodes were only slightly above average and feel like I've been rewarded.

Seems like there was a conversation to get Ron Funches more involved, which is a huge positive as he's hilarious.

Doesn't take itself too seriously and is simply an enjoyable show.
  • Best Thing Since Sliced Comedy

I watch about 40 shows in a full year, a lot of them being comedies.

This show is the funniest thing I've seen since the first season of "How I Met Your Mother". It's funny and outrageous while not being impersonal.

I can see already that the ratings aren't great but I hope that the network reads this and renews it for another season. The characters are well developed, the acting is brilliant, and the writers clearly have a lot of skill with comedy.

Renew it. Sometimes quality should trump popularity.moreless

I have to say not usually one to give a show like this time of day until it hits season 3 but, Undateable has had me bending over in stitches of laughter. Brilliantly done and a great mix of very funny characters.

Will definitely be looking for season 2. LMFAO!!! :D
  • Surprisingly Good

I must admit that I was uncertain when I saw the initial previews for this show. With the frustrating lack of quality comedies on television these days and the fact NBC chose to wait until the summer to air double episodes, I figured that NBC was looking for a way to quickly end this series. The only thing that enticed me to give this a chance was that I saw Bianca Kajlich is in the cast and I have always liked her work.

To my surprise, I found myself laughing several times during the first few episodes. While no one's IQ is going to get any higher watching this show, Chris D'Elia is absolutely hilarious, as is the rest of the cast. Everyone seems to have a strong role in the show and the show is quite funny.

This show probably deserves a second season (perhaps as a midseason replacement) to build an audience. From what I hear, the ratings have surprised NBC so far. I know I have been pleasantly surprised by how funny the show is and considering with the exception of the Goldbergs and the declining Modern Family and Big Bang Theory, there isn't much comedy on television worth a chuckle.moreless
