They are in order of production, not in order or airing.

Looking at the airing order of the episodes it seems that the show would make more sense if it was watched in the order in which they are presented on the DVD.

Yea, thats really screwed up. It really screwes up Stephens relationship with Lizzy and her relationship with Erik, it also screws up Ron's relationship with the girl thats played by Busey Phillips (I forgot her name)

I notice in my undeclared DVD that it shows the truth of dare episode twice, and it's missing the Rush and Pledge episode.

Even the production order doesn't make perfect sense. "Truth or Dare" should take place after "Eric visits again" but was made before.

The correct viewing order, with the story in chronological order is
    1. Prototype 2a. Oh, So You Have a Boyfriend 2b. Full Bluntal Nugety 3. Eric Visits 4. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs 5. Sick in the Head 6. The Assistant 7. Addicts 8. God Visits 9. Parents' Weekend 10. Eric Visits Again 11. Rush and Pledge 12. Hell Week 13. Truth or Dare 14. The Day After 15. The Perfect Date 16. Hal and Hillary 17. Eric's POV

wait, so did they mess up this dvd release twice?

Because I have kind of the opposite problem.

The episodes are in the correct order, but the episode "Rush and Pledge" is on both discs 2 and 3, and the episode "Truth or Dare" isn't on there at all.

    Weird.
