Episode Summary

War breaks out between the guys and Books after Steven quits pledging the Theta frat during Greek Week. In order to stop the madness, the guys steal the Theta letter from the frat, and hold it hostage (and of course, they have some "fun" with it as well). Meanwhile, Lizzie and Tina try to subtly point out to Rachel that she's gained the "Freshman 15," and they end up offending her instead.moreless

      • (About their sign)
Taint: (angrily)The only reason that you're the sage of this frat is because me and Ass Hair decided that we couldn't do the paperwork. And if you destroy this frat, I will destroy you. So get it back!
Books: Alright, alright. Dude, switch to decaf.

        Marshall: Yeah.
Ron: I do it every night after you go to sleep.
Marshall: But you're snoring by the time I'm doing it.
Ron: I'm pretending to snore so you don't think I'm doing it.
        Marshall : God, Ron!
Ron: We're doing it the same time?
Marshall: Oh, God! That's horrible, Ron.
        Ron: Gosh!
Steven: Maybe next time, you might want to use this thing. (Laughs as he holds up the magazine with Lloyd on the cover as Cupid wearing just a diaper and wings, holding a bow and arrow)
Ron: I actually have one. I thought that was Meg Ryan on the cover. (Steven continues laughing)

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Freaks and Geeks
When Steven and company find their dorm vandalized, among the phrases seen written in graffiti is "Geeks Not Freaks", a likely reference to Judd Apatow's previous TV series, which ran on NBC from 1999-2000.
