  • 1st reviewer! Yay me! This episode wasn't very special, but I just finished it. Loved the "Freaks and Geeks" cameos.

    8.0
I believe this is the first episode to touch up on fraternities/sororities. I think the first thing that interested me about this episode was "Freaks and Geeks"'s Samm Levine's (Neil) cameo. I was very excited. The second "Freaks and Geeks" cameo was Natasha Melnick, who had her recurring role as Cindy.

Then there was the sub-plot of Tina playing "How Bizarre" over and over again. She and Rachel proceed to have a music/dance-off, possibly the funniest part of the entire episode.

There was a line that Lizzie made to Steven about how she would be Aphrodite and he would be Zeus...they must not be learning a lot because Aphrodite was married to Poseidon.

The episode is a two part one, leaving with the two beginning their pledges. This poor show is so abused.moreless

    • Marshall: Hey, Steve. I hear fraternities tie a brick around your 'thing' and throw the brick out a window.

    • Lizzie: Is Steven coming back?
Books: You know what? You don't have to worry him. He's my bitch now.

    • (The boys are trying to find out what the fraternity house looks like)
Ron: I know what it looks like. It looks like this pyramid thing then there's a "Z" and the first letter is like a...
Marshall: (interrupting) It's like a boob with a bowtie.
      Ron: That's right.
Perry: Boob with a bowtie? Ah, no Marshall, that's your chippendales calendar.
Marshall: Hey, shut up, Perry and drive. You're not allowed to make fun of me so step on it, you dumbass!

    • (When playing a wrestling video game)
Perry: I don't get it. Why doesn't anything happen when I push this button?
      (Lloyd pushes him away)
      Marshall: 'Cause you suck!
Perry: (dryly) It's true. I suck at video wrestling. How will I tell my parents?

    • (The group try to get into a frat house)
      Steven
      : Hey, I'm Steven Karp.
      Beast-Whore: Beast-Whore.
(He lightly punches Steve's open hand)
Steven: Umm... I think my name's on a list. My dad's alumni in Hal Karp.
Beast-Whore: Good for you, but it's an open party.
Ron: Great work with connections there, Steven.
Marshall: Thanks for the hook-up, bro.

    • Marshall: Yeah, come on guys, don't make fun of Steve... or his breasts will lactate.

    • Lloyd: Faster, boy, faster! Don't make me get the hose.
Perry: Actually Lloyd, this is a school zone. And in this country it's illegal to run over children.
