After last weeks surprisingly good episode this was a bit of a let down. The sheriff is dead, A young girl has been murdered and all they seem to be worried about is a caterpillar infestation. Wow.

I don't understand why the people who didn't like the show last season, are watching this season and complaining, "Its as bad as last season" Is your life so sad and pitiful that you need to watch a show that you KNOW you don't like?

After reading the reviews here, I expected to be bored with this episode but, apparently, "dragged out" means, "I'm looking for an action thriller, and this isn't one" This is not "Supernatural" people, its a PSYCHOLOGICAL thriller.... which involves depth and thought, NOT fast paced action. READ A BOOK or call a friend, but STOP WATCHING a show that you don't understand or enjoy!!!!

I would have given this episode a 7 or 7.5, but decided to try and help its average after all the judgmental haters trashed it.

I can't imagine watching 2 SEASONS of a show that I know I don't like!!! God strike me dead if my life ever gets that pathetic!!!!!!moreless

The second season is going so wrong, have they changed the writing crew? They killed two good characters in the first episode. The replacement for the sheriff, the radioman? Just no. How they introduced the teacher... Forced.

Big Mike is gonna be some kind of priest now? No way. Why are the kids and the black woman (don't remember their names) living with Big Mike? Another no. Butterfly eggs and worms? Pfff... At least in the end the teacher talked about the lack of resources, that's something.moreless

    • Big Jim: It's the last I could do to... pay you back. I just want you to know, I have no, uh, animosity towards you, Julia. I have nothing but deep gratitude.
Julia: That sounded dangerously close to a "thank you."

    • Rebecca: I don't know if it's because of our isolated ecosystem, or the magnetic fluctuations, but something has caused our butterfly reproductive cycle to accelerate.
Big Jim: Killer butterflies, huh? Now we really got something to worry about.

    • Big Jim: It's the first test of many. I'm guessing the Dome wants me to prove myself.
Rebecca: What is he talking about?
      Barbie: Himself. As usual.

    • Barbie: We got any obstructions down there? Any power lines, windmills, silos?
Rebecca: Only an impenetrable, completely invisible dome.

    • Barbie: Well, I got to say, I never expected to be the one thinking you for saving my life.
Big Jim: Yeah, well, meet the new Big Jim.
      Barbie: Right.

    • Julia: You think I'm nuts for defending someone I don't know?
Sam: I think you're brave, taking all of this on as your responsibility. And a little nuts.

    • Rebecca: It's not about one day. Heroes leave behind a good story, but a great leader leaves a legacy.
