The star wars crap is really annoying in this episode. If I wanted to watch star wars or star trek, I\'d be watching those shows. There\'s also a bit too much with the video games. Good music in the backround. Whats with the dude who talks in bleeps?
It was really low of his high school friends to forget his birthday. Just seemed mean, although it does happen. So when they find out they forgot they say they will throw him a party the next day, but he makes other plans. The click apparently \'needs\' him and he feels guilty while with his other friends. He ends up helping them.

The whole dance scene where Nitz and his new friends are hanging out a fountain acting goofy is a parody of the opening of Friends, where the group are doing the same. The only difference is it is night-time in Friends, and day-time in Undergrads.

Quake:
The game Gimpy and the others play is Quake. It is a popular first-person shooter game. It has since had 3+ sequels and some ports to other systems. The hand joke where Rocko is swinging his arms is that when you run out of ammo (or if you switch to it) you use your arms to karate chop people.

Gimpy's recoronation
This is a reenactment of the coronation at the end of Star Wars Ep IV. "Mump! You're alive!" is obviously an R2 D2 reference. -
Full Metal Jacket
Gimpy's training montage for the Quake Tournament is a parody of Full Metal Jacket's. Cal is a parody of Pyle, particular the scene in the bathroom.
