The episode was well written and all the characters clicked into place. Also Tara's story was advanced satisfactorily, the sub-plots with Brie and Marsh at times are more juicy than the crux of the show, Tara herself. This is the reason why I'm a little disappointed, I was expecting more fireworks with Tara in the season finale. I'm not saying it was bad, I'm just saying the confrontation with Trip was within expectations... nothing spectacular but not bland by any means. It felt like another episode rather than the season finally. Don't get me wrong, I like the show but I was hoping for jaw dropping moments like you get in Dexter.moreless

Tara finds absolution from her past, by clearing up the incident with Trip. She meets Trip and his wife, along with Max and the psychiatrist who supervises the meeting. During the meeting Tee appears, and it becomes known that Tara had DID before the incident, and that Tee was the aspect who participated in it. Exhausted and sad, she asks to go home and everyone leaves the clinic.

I liked how Max realized Tara was only trying to protect him by altering to Tee and making out with Jason, and how he visits the clinic and tells her he's sorry. And Max was very supportive after breaking out in the previous episode. But Tara still has issues to resolve, and now that the Trip incident is revealed not to be the cause of everything, she has lots more work to do to find out what the cause is. I'll be tuning in to next season!moreless
