Virtually nothing happened on tonight's episode of United States of Tara. I've gotten used to the first couple of US of Tara episodes being rather weak. This is the setup of the entire season, but knowing this show, there's not a doubt in my mind, things will pick up soon.
Throughout the whole episode, I was waiting for some sort of big transition. All the personalities working as a system this season is a great concept and the final scene gave us a sense of that, but I was waiting for a larger pay off.
Since when is Charmaine the main character? Seriously, she got the most lines tonight, her and Neil, and frankly, this doesn't make sense to me since I find them the least interesting. I really wanted to see more of Kate & Marshall.
Not that I'm loving the whole Marshall/Lionel thing, but I'm looking forward in seeing what the writers come up with this season. Overall, solid premiere, can't wait to see what's next.
