Untitled Harvey Fierstein Project is an unfinished television project for Harvey Fierstein, an American actor and playwright. This project is a situation comedy with one 30-minute episode broadcast each week, that entered development at ABC in 2003 and moved over to FOX in 2005. It features Fierstein in drag as a single mother raising two children alone. It is set in a blue-collar neighborhood in Seaside Heights, New Jersey. Fierstein has a long history of performing on stage as a female impersonator early in his career. He also plays female roles in plays such as Torch Song Trilogy and La Cage aux Folles. This project is from Storyline Entertainment, a production team consisting of Neil Meron and Craig Zadan. Meron and Zadan are the executive producer and Fierstein is the co-executive producer. Fierstein is also the lead writer and David Richardson is the co-writer. This project is on hold as of 2005 and no pilot yet exists.
