Upstairs Downstairs Bear is a children's stop-motion TV series developed by FilmFair based on the popular British series of the same name by Carol Lawson that centers on two families of Edwardian-inspired bears living in number 49 Theodore Square. Though they share a home, it seems there is more than a few walls and floors separating the distinct 'upstairs' Bosworth family from the 'downstairs' Bumbles. It is relatively easy for the pushier Henrietta Bosworth and her husband Freddy to maintain their distance from their workers, Betsy and Barker. For their children however, it seems they hold nothing back as twins Henry and Alice with their younger baby brother Arthur Bosworth run on adventures with little Polly Bumble. From picnics to music lessons, birthday parties and babysitting, the four precocious bears keep the adults on their toes with their thrilling enthusiastic antics. Upstairs Downstairs Bear is a stop-motion series utilizing real teddy bears as the precious characters of the well-loved book series.moreless
