Grace: Back in the day, a girl would travel no more than two miles from the place she was born. She'd meet four or five single men, and marry the one with the least pox.
Phoebe: Maybe you should cool it on the caffeine a little. (Grace glares) Or not. It's delicious!
Kate: Why do people always say that? "He's just a friend." Like it's embarrassing, like bad breath, or German people at the beach?
Kate: Are those arrows magic?
Danny: No. But they're bitchin', right?
(reading the future)
Phoebe: Roland never remarries. Tad cheats on Joanna and divorces her. Joanna dies alone and is eaten by her cats. Which is actually good-ish news if you're a cat person. (glares at Kate) I bet you are.
Leo breaks a store window with a trash can in front of cops)
Leo: Hey! Pigs! Look at me! I'm robbin' a liquor store! [to himself] I hate cops.
Danny: This is your brilliant idea, mom? To bring in an outsider? You destroy my gun, and replace it with a mortal? The family business is as good as saved, mom!
Leo: [to Kate] He's never been good with change.
Ray: (pulled into a closet by Grace) This is wrong. What about your husband?
Grace: Don't be silly, darling. There isn't room in here for the three of us.
Ray: [about Eros] The last thing that boy needs is another bad habit.
Grace: You mean, that I taught him?
Ray: I didn't say that.
Grace: So you're saying I didn't teach him?
Ray: I didn't say that either.
Danny: Nora Ephron crap . . .
Nora Ephron is a famous screenwriter known for her romantic screenplays, the most famous being Sleepless In Seattle, Silkwood, and When Harry Met Sally
Joanna: I'm a material girl!
In the beginning of the episode, Joanna is dressed like recording artist Madonna. "Material Girl" is a single from Madonna's second album, Like A Virgin.
