The big connections are back in action like they were at the beginning of the series, with an added layer of the conspiracy added to this episode. Sara Collins is only the first step of what the kidnappers really want, which turns to the second women who is also being held. I like how the writers connected the two kidnapped women in real life, giving them a bit of a connection to try and work off of. The attack on FBI headquaters was random, yet exciting. A lot is being done to try and get that artifact back by the opposing side and I cant wait to see what the big picture is at the end. I liked the part of the episode where the camera zoomed out, showing that Sara is being held in the darkest and most emptyness of places. I still dont know why the kidnappers are telling Sara everything about her husband to try and turn her, maybe for some eleborate plan once she is let go to feul her hatred for him? With only three episodes left, I cant wait to see how the whole things pans out.moreless
  • It's official: FOX made a mistake canceling Vanished, and this episode proves it

    10
Well, this series really did prove it had what it takes. It may have been a rip off of 24, but it proved that it was also unique and not just a complete cop out.

I saw this episode on Myspace, just like the rest of you. My last review I complained about technical accuracy. This episode hits it dead on. It also packs a big punch to boot, and I'm not talking about the FBI shootout, I'm talking about how Marci Collins is no longer pregnant, after Senator Ranor must of sent in his men to perform an consented abortion. Powerful stuff at work here, and a perfect episode. It flew right by, too. Yet, FOX stopped airing the series here.

FOX, you should be ashamed of yourself. If these episodes don't ever air on your network (Myspace doesn't count), you've killed a series worthy of living for another season or even more.moreless
  • "A really Great Episode"

    8.6
A really Great Episode! It's to bad the show was cancelled. In this episode we finally meet who is on the other end of the vent in Sara Collins holding cell. A piece of the "puzzle was left behind for agent Lucas to find in the suv. Wallace calls a bluff and Marcy pushes her limits. 2 men shootup the fbi dept in an attempt to take back what was "thiers". Senator Collins prepares to deliver his vote, and a new individual is discovered on death row that could give some answers to so many questions. This episode had some intense supense!moreless
