  • Insulting Finnish people

    1.0
The Helsinki episode was crap. If they make an episode happening in Finland, they should have some basic knowledge of Finland. All Finnish names where pronounced wrong even when a "Finnish person" pronounced his own name. The Finnish word "kassi" DOES NOT MEAN SCROTUM, although sometimes testicles are referred as "kassit" which is plural form of "kassi" which means a bag with handles, shopping bag, gymbag etc but never a scrotum in its singular form. Making the Finnish PM a female who has pervert husband, was also very insulting, because it obviously referred to our previous PRESIDENT who was female. Finnish Prime Minister very seldom takes care of visits of foreign vice presidents, it is the job of our foreign minister or sometimes it is the job of our president. VEEP should give sack to Heikki Ukkendon who obviously was responsible of the facts of Finland. His first name "Heikki" which is Finnish does not make him expert of the matters of Finland.moreless

Possibly one of Veep's best episodes yet.

You have the in-depth political research and effort to maintain reality this show goes through, with the effect that finding out someone is a spy would have on the President, strategist and VP, but you also have the smart, fast-paced, original comedy that separates this show from the competition.

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode and love how they actually have storylines such as the song carry over from week to week. Not true with most sitcoms these days.moreless
