Rizzo causes difficulties for Savino when he hires Diane Desmond to sing at the Savoy. Diane just happens to be Savino's ex-mistress. Sheriff Lamb and the military police join forces when clues to a murder lead to a nearby Air Force base.

Since the pilot episode to episode 8, this show has improved so much, such a brilliant episode,

Lamb's wife was obviously murdered & i hope we found out soon by who. Not short on suspects, although i dont believe it was Savino, i would guess Johnny Rizzo. Nice sexual tension going on between Jack & Mia. Absolutely enjoyed this episode, thanks for making my night complete CBS.

Air force OSI officer

The Air Force OSI officer is addressed as a lieutenant is wearing the brass of an enlisted man. The Hat insignia and the collar brass on his jacket are all enlisted brass and not USAF officer brass. Some one really blew this one in the costume department.
