Not enough ratings, is the most probable answer. Not enough people watching in the US, so they decided not to make anymore.

    I figure, anyway.

Actually it ended due to live telecasts of the war in Iraq.  When they stopped airing these telecasts, the reality show I'm a Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! on August 25, 2002. They continued to play out Miracles, but I know the series played out over seas and is hopeful the the Sci Fi Channel  will pick it up.

I agree, All the best shows seem to get cancelled before they even get a chance Veritas and Firefly and 2 prime examples.

I'd put John Doe on the list too.

it really is a shame it was cancelled, it has as much potential as a conspiracy show as the x-files (with a twist of Indiana Jones that is), there are so many theories still to explore

ugh i am so mad this ended. i just watched all 13 episodes on youtube *hint, hint hint* and of course it ended with a cliff hanger. dan them for cancelling this, i felt that this could have had alot of potential, though probably having both alias and veritas running at the same time is probably not a good idea, but yeah, i wish I knew why Nikko all of a sudden has special powers.

I loved this show when it was first on. I watched all of the episodes online and fell even more in love with the show. I would have loved it if they had made a second season. I really wanted them to explain why Nikko suddenly had powers.

i was expecting something to happen to him, why else did they show him enveloped in that light with his mother in the first episode if it wasn't to give him some great important role. but now we'll never know cause they stopped filming!!
