RT is getting some serious Hollywood cred. Is there hope?

As much as I want more Veronica Mars, I don't see happening unfortunately.
They're not really bringing 90210 back, it's a spin-off they're making, but with Cupid getting remade there is some hope but I just can't see the CW bringing VM when they cancelled it just a year ago...

it seems like it makes more VM less likely because Rob will not be able to do a Veronica Mars comic or work on a movie even though I never thought this was going to happen because he will have no time

Unless it were sophmore year of VM, I'm not even interested... The FBI concept was stupid. But I doubt they'd be able to pull everyone back; KB may have loved Veronica Mars, but she has potential to go better and further (not neccessarily quality-wise). JD has gone on to Moonlight.

    I'm still here...

I have a hard time believing that the FBI thinkg would retain some of the things I watched VM for. The exchanges between Veronic and Keith were great.

There was a poll about TV's best dad that left Keith out. That just wasn't rght.

I think people need to understand that the 12-minute promo that was shown on the Season 3 DVD wasn't how the actual series would have been. Rob has stated over and over that the promo was just a sample of what the storylines could have been like (Veronica going undercover, going to the FBI Academy or whatever it was, etc). I'm positive that Keith would have been in the actual series had it been picked up.

And I disagree with the opinion that the FBI concept was "stupid". I think it was very believable that Veronica would want to be an FBI Agent instead of a PI and I think it would have made the show a little bit more edgier and fast-paced (the scene with Veronica holding the gun at the end of the 12-minute promo comes to mind). It would have opened up a whole world of different types of mysteries as well.

i just found that 12 min promo!! i wish vm had continued on. even though the whole fbi scene would have been a serious change in the theme of the show, it would be exciting and funny and so much better than all the reality crap television has been shoveling lately.

I don't think the FBI thing was "stupid"as such and I also understand that 12 min does not a series make but it would still be hard to work Keith in every week he might turn up every now and again if he needed help on a case or somthing like that but it is hard to picture him as a regular. The rest of Veronica's friends would also be a tough sell where would Wallace or Mac fit in in a high school/college setting the best friends could be maintained in the over all story lines but in an FBI show it is once again hard to picture them every week not that they were in the show every week in season 3 as it was. As far as a love intrest Logan or god help us Piz are clearly no longer in the picture either. Wevil similarly has no place in an FBI show. Now this new show might have been good we will never know but it would not have been Veronica Mars as we knew it

I have a really good feeling that Veronica Mars is coming back but then again I had a strong feeling Xena the warrior princess was coming back but thats not going to happen so I don't think I things are any different now.

I just hope they don't ever try to do a Veronica Mars remake in 10 years time. There are some classics that should just be left alone as you can't improve perfection

I wouldn't say VM is perfection but I pretty much agree. They better not make a remake. That would just sake. No one but Kristen Bell should ever play Veronica.
