ok logan u should've lied sweetie...and veronica: GIRL u're such a drama queen!!
  • Awesome episode

I really liked this episode. It was different from the others. Some parts of it were funny. One of my favorite scenes was when Veronica was following Madison. Veronica asked Weevil to steal Madison's brand new car and crush it at the junkyard. I thought that was awesome. I would have done the same thing if I was in Veronica's shoes. Veronica and Logan broke up AGAIN!! I love the two of them together. I wish they can find away to work it out in the end. I've always preferred her with Logan. One thing I didn't like about this episode is there wasn't enough Weevil. And there was no Mac or Wallace. This episode was very well written. And I can't wait to find out what happens next in the Dean O'Dell murder case.moreless
  • The closest any recent episode has come to feeling like season 1 Veronica

I will be the first to admit Veronica's felt a little off lately. In my opinion, there are two things that have led to this: first, the Veronica/Logan struggles. On again/off again can be fun, but I've lost count of the number of times they've been on/off in this season alone. I wish LoVe could be given a designation and it would remain so for oh maybe 3 episodes. The second disappointment has been the lack of focus on overall mysteries. Obviously, this season does not have the season-long mystery. But the Dean O'Dell murder has hardly been given the amount of time it deserves lately. Not so with this episode. I felt the writers were finally back in touch with the Veronica we became so smitten with in seasons 1 and 2. Who didn't flashback to the young season 1 Veronica in that scene where she follows Madison Sinclair in her car, camera in hand, to the promotional photos UPN released at the beginning of the series? You know the one I mean. VM in her car, hair jammed into a hat, camera in hand, leaning out the window. Yeah, that's what I was reminded of. Keith back in kickass mode. Veronica posing as Hester, Nancy Drew, and whoever else. Weevil stealing a car to crush it. Veronica's nightmares. All these reminded me of previous seasons. Not to mention the great music. At least three times during this episode, I found myself saying "what is that song? I want it." The lack of Wallace concerns me. Other characters have been more prominent than he has, ones that aren't even in the cast! Bring back Wallace, please.

A big improvement overall. Not as choppy as recent episodes have been and more emphasis on the over-arching storyline give it a point in my book.moreless
  • Pregnant Girl Miscarriage, while Veronica and Logan Break up!

As usual the show is well written and well portrayed too. I believe that it's for the best that Veronica and Logan Broke up. They really don't belong together, however, it wouldn't surprise me that we'll see more of that relationship, since they've become two of the most popular characters. I'm sure it's possible that they will introduce a better fit for her in future episodes, but I find it hard to see that they will completely end that whole relationship. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I like to see Eli "Weevil" in the shows a little more, but of course that's probably not gonna happen much.moreless
  • Pregnancy, abortion, mercedez, winter break

The end of Vogan at last? I sure hope so. Their break-ups and get togethers are starting to bore me. It just isn't original anymore, unlike before. If there was another guy who did stand a chance it would be great, but Pizz just ain't doing anything. He doesn't stand a chance against Logan. Duncan did, but Vogan problems are boring! V works on a case with Bonnie who lost her baby. My comments on the case would be, great case I really enjoyed it. The criminal was too obvious though. I got it once they showed her. They could have done better.moreless

Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (18)

    • Veronica: That redhead from the other day, Nadia. Does she have a last name?
Dick: Comaneci. (Dick notices Veronica's angry look) What?
Veronica: Dick, do you think I'm an idiot? Nadia Comaneci is an Olympic gymnast from Romania.
Dick: You sure? I mean, she doesn't have an accent.

    • (Logan just confessed he slept with Madison)
Logan: What do you want me to do? What can I do?
Veronica: Make it not true? Get it out of my head and never let me think about it again? 'Cause... unless you can do that, this is something I'm never getting past.

    • Weevil: (talking about Madison's car) So, we're all set to go as soon as they finish. I even washed it so it'd be shiny when we crush it. I know it doesn't sound logical, but trust me, it's much better.
      Veronica: Let's not do it.
Weevil: Are you sure? 'Cause, you know, I... I did go through all the trouble of stealing it.
Veronica: Here's a little something for the effort. (hands him money) Maybe you could open a can of tuna, set it inside her A/C vent, then park it back on the block.
      Weevil: I can do that.
      Veronica: Yeah.
      Weevil: You're going soft, Mars.

    • Logan: (leaving a message on Veronica's voicemail) So, where are you, Veronica? Out digging through someone's trash, maybe? Interrogating one of your friends? Beating out a confession? You know, if you dig deep enough, you're gonna find that everyone's a sinner. Judge not, Veronica, et cetera, et cetera. All right, stay on message, Logan. Okay, honestly... it's encouraging that someone still has such high expectations of me. (pause) Veronica, I would give anything if I could take back that night in Aspen. I'm sorry it causes you so much pain. I'm sorry it happened. And I really love you, Veronica.

    • Dick: Did you hook up with Madison?
Logan: I did. It just happened, you know. I didn't think you had any feelings left over her.
Dick: It's still uncool. You don't do that to a buddy. And by the way, you laying in here in the dark is pathetic.

    • Keith: Good. You're up. I've got a little conundrum. Nish says she egged the dean's Volvo on campus the night he was murdered. Mindy says she had the Volvo parked at the Neptune Grand all night. Any guess as to who's lying?
Veronica: Both of them? I don't know.
Keith: Your lack of opinion concerns me.
Veronica: Logan and I broke up... again. My idea this time.

    • Veronica: Did you and Madison have sex over winter break? I asked you point-blank.
Logan: And I lied. Point-blank. It wasn't information that you had a right to know. I knew you wouldn't be able to deal with the Madison thing.
Logan: I wasn't trying to hurt you.
Veronica: Oh really? Imagine if you tried.

    • Rev. Capistrano: Try to be forgiving. It's the only way. Anger will tear you down. It'll make you less of a person that you want to be. And it will tear apart your soul. The Bible teaches us that he who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit can capture a city. He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who is quick-tempered exalts folly.

    • Veronica: (voiceover while stalking Madison) If there's a justification for my actions right now, it's this: I have gone completely crazy.

    • Bonnie: [Dick] said he'd pay after I got a paternity test.
Veronica: Yeah. He's a classy dude.

    • Mindy: Keith, it's Mindy O'Dell. Listen, can you come right away? There's someone in the house downstairs.
      Keith: Where are you?
Mindy: I'm in my bedroom. I'm with the boys.
      Keith: You call the cops?
Mindy: You're closer. And you're competent.

    • Dick: (to Veronica) Oh, I'm heartless? First Duncan, now Logan. You're running out of rich bachelors' heads to mess with. Is it some kind of weird sport for you, you know, breaking dudes' hearts? What, you put another notch on your lipstick case?

    • Dick: If we're not going to have an empty sexual encounter, I kind of got stuff to do.

    • Veronica: (voiceover about Dick) It must be a liberating thing not to be cursed with a moral compass.

    • Dick: Can we be done? I've got things to do. Redheaded things.

    • Veronica: (to Dick) You do your hair like that to cover up the three sixes on your scalp, right?

    • Dick: The rebound starts with me? Nice.

    • Veronica: (to Dick) I feel like you've got this wadded up Maxim magazine where your heart is supposed to be.

  • NOTES (2)
