Verschollen in Thailand

Show Summary

Verschollen in Thailand, which translates as Missing in Thailand, is a 1997 German TV series. Konstantin Strauten (Gunter Berger) has been missing for ten years. His brother Karl (Michael Degen) has managed the family timber business single-handedly during that time. Karl and son Peter (Robert Jarczyk) intend to have Konstantin declared dead - but Konstanze (Gerit Kling) is determined to find her father, and intends to head for Thailand with her friends Yvi Steinberg (Lisa Wolf) and Robert Willhagen (AndrÉ Hennicke). Little does Konstanze know, however, that both her father and her uncle have their own reasons for not wanting her to find Konstantin. Directed by Stefan Bartmann, the 90 minute pilot was first broadcast on 19 March 1997. The next nine episodes each last for 50 minutes.
