Vets to the Rescue was a British TV show that was produced by the BBC. Vets to the Rescue was broadcast during 1999 and featured 30 episodes. The show focused on the work of vets, both in their surgeries and out in the wider world. Vets to the Rescue was presented by Trude Mostue, a qualified vet who gained widespread popularity during the BBC series Vet School and Vets in Practice during the mid 90s. Her co-presenter on Vets to the Rescue, Matthew Brash, went on to star in the ITV series Zoo Vet at Large, which ran for 9 years. Vets to the Rescue showed vets diagnosing and treating family pets suffering from cancer, tackling arthritis in horses, and looking after the health of zoo animals.
