Apparently reviews haven't been very kind, however I'll give it a go x

I stumbled across this on Sunday and ended up watching it on replay as it looked like fun.

Have to say I laughed out loud a couple of times.

The opening scene was hysterical. I knew from the start that this would be another of my 'Guilty Pleasures'

Toby Stevens played Mr Rochester in the 2006 BBC 4 parter of Jane Ayre. Took me a while to warm to him in that role as I kept comparing him to James Purefoy and Rufus Sewell. So my type.

I recogniseLucy Punchas the Am Dram 'Juliet' in Hotfuzz. Also as the Bo Peep character in the 10th Kingdom.

I look forward to the rest of the series in anticpation.I just hope it lives up to episode ones promise.

Warning..take it all with your tongue firmly stuck in your cheek. This is not for the stalwalts of the serious cop show.

This is for those of us who know how to laugh out loud.

Um, yes! I liked it and it made me laugh. Better that most comdies the bbc put on, can't believe I wasted half an hour watching that roger & val bs. As much as I like Alfred & Dawn they are awfully boring in that.

But Vexed was a refreshing change, silly scenes and clever jokes. Good Tv.

I enjoyed it quite honestly but have yet to see the other two episodes...The male character is quite amusing and it's a bit irreverent for the typical cop series
