For the second time in a few weeks I watch an episode of a classic show because a legendary entertainer has just died. On the day of Victoria Wood's all too early death, the sadness can be set aside for half an hour with this episode that has it all. A great monologue about dating, some wonderful Susie Blake commentaries, a parody of American musicals, a documentary in the style of what we now call reality television and that song, you know the one: The Ballad of Barry and Freda, better known as 'Let's Do It'. All of this written by one woman, performed by her and her friends. Remarkable. What a loss.moreless
