  • A perfect Season 2 premiere of "Victorious"

This is the beginning of Season 2 for "Victorious" and I thought that it was perfect. The plot to this episode was well written and it was perfect. Tori's teacher assigns the class to do either a solo or a duet and Tori tells everyone that she wants to do a solo but this guy goes to Tori asks her on a date and if they can do a duet together and of course Tori says "yes". I thought that Robbie's subplot was hilarious and Cat's subplot was hilarious as well. Cat is adorable as always and I just want to hug her because she is so adorable no matter what she says. I don't have to mention all of the funny scenes in this episode because everything in this episode was hilarious but I'll say a couple of scenes such as when Robbie hides outside of Tori's house to see how that guy gets the girl and everything that Rex said to Robbie such as "your life is off". Everyone keeps telling Tori that the guy is hiding something and Robbie talked to that girl and found out from her that the guy only goes out with girls to get a good grade. It's revenge time and Tori has a plan which was singing a song and humiliating him in front of everyone. I loved the song that Tori sang at the end of the episode called "Beggin' On Your Knees". Overall, a perfect episode of "Victorious" to start off Season 2. 10/10
  • Season 2 Premiere

As someone else mentioned on here that I noticed while watching this episode. All of Dan Schneider's female leads are similar when they become attracted to someone. Carly just kept coming too mind as I saw Tori flirt with Ryder.

Overall, this was a good premiere though. Hopefully we'll get episodes on a weekly basis now because this show really is hitting it's stride this year. I felt like we could have gotten more of the other character but what we did get was pretty funny.

Like Cat and the North Star service or Trina stretching out her jeans or just Robbie in general. Robbie continues to remind me of Screech from Saved by the Bell. Hopefully Victorious wont make the same mistake by constantly picking on Robbie on a weekly basis for comic relief. Because I'm pretty sure that's what ruined Saved by the Bell. Robbie is a great character and I hope we see more of him. Solid premiere, great musical number, even if it was a bit corny.

The season premiere of Victorious was good, I have to admit. I was laughing and I am sure that I will check out the song on Youtube at some point.

It felt a little bit over the top in some scenes though. I think Dan Schneider is a bit too cliched when he writes for his female leads entering the dating world though. Honestly, you could not see a difference between Tori during her date and Carly in any episode of iCarly when she was with a boy.

Whatever Jade did to her hair she should probably change it back.

Victorious is a really fun show with a lot of momentum behind it. Good start to the new year and hopefully episodes air with a bit more consistency now.

Tori agrees to do a duet with a hot guy named Ryder Daniels for a class assignment. But, her friends later learn that Ryder acts like he likes girls, but in reality he is only using them for good grades. So, Tori plans some sweet, sweet revenge.

This was pretty good. For the first time I thought the way the characters got revenge was a GOOD way. I also liked the quartet boys, Robbie as the bush on Tori's porch, and the song at the end, Begging on your Knees. The only things I did not like a lot, were why Robbie and Cat had sub plots, if they weren't ever resolved. Neither of their plots were resolved, so their scenes were time-filler I thought. But overall fine episode. B+ or so as a grade
