  • My favorite

I just recently got into this show; my two young daughters found it and I "screened" it for approval. I definitely approve! The whole family likes to watch it together. This one is my absolute favorite episode, tho. I was in Drama when I was in high school, and one day my Drama teacher had the entire club (who were putting on a show soon) remain in character for an entire school day (our other teachers were warned). It was so much fun, and I know how hard it is! The episode brought back those fun memories. We also can't have a bowl of Raisin Bran without cracking up. My only quibble is the weakness of the characters of the parents. It's THEIR house, it's THEIR anniversary...why didn't they just tell the kids to GO HOME!!!

What I liked: Cat as a comedienne, Tori's obsession with Raisin Bran, the way Robbie broke character, etc.

However, the ending has to be one of the rushed endings to a TV Show I have ever seen. For two reasons:

    1. One minute, the gang is watching Terms of Endearment (which I don't understand why on Earth they were laughing…), and the next, Beck breaks character. It is really rushed. Did they run out of time with this one?

    2. Tori did not 'win'. If you remember what Sikowitz says at the beginning, he just says the method acting contest lasts till 'Saturday morning.' He does NOT give a time, ergo, just because Beck broke character, Tori did not technically win. On a technicality, they BOTH won, because they both went till Saturday morning without breaking their characters.

The rest of the episode was fairly good, but this is one of the laziest endings to this show I have ever seen.
  • I am Victorious!

The first season of one of television's best new shows came to an end tonight and what an episode they delivered. If there is one thing Nick does consistently well with its shows is create good adult characters and Sikowitz is right up there with Chris from Kenan and Kel. An episode with him in a featured role was bound to have hilarity ensue, and it did here. This was right up there with "Freak the Freak Out" as my top episodes of this show. Great performance from the entire cast all around and a well-crafted storyline. Definitely cannot wait for Season 2 of this show.

Victorious just keeps on getting better. This may be one of Dan Schneider's most original shows. He put all the best characters he's ever thought of in one great ensemble. We saw a lot of great dynamics here, really reminded me of those classic sketch shows like Whose Line is it Anyway.

Victorious doesn't need substantial development to be spectacular. It's consistently good, original, and hilarious almost all the time. I've always found Sikowitz hilarious so I loved that this episode was centered around him in a way.

All the method acting characters were very funny, especially Jade's character. When she burned her hand on the plate, I could not stop laughing. I kind of wish Tori would have lost though. The funniest characters were eliminated too early in the game unfortunately but regardless, this was a great episode.
  • Great episode of "Victorious"

I thought that this was a great episode of "Victorious". In my opinion, I thought the story could have been a little better. It was a funny episode but I was expecting more from it because the promo for this episode looked so funny. Sikowitz invites the gang over to his house to learn about method acting and whoever gets out of character gets kicked out. I thought the plot to the episode was interesting but I like the subplot more when Robbie, Cat, Jade, and Andre interfere with Tori and Trina's parent's anniversary. Although, Trina was mentioned in this episode... she didn't appear in this episode. I thought the gang in their costumes for their role was pretty funny but then after a while, it started to get annoying. It was hilarious when Andre's grandma came to Sikowitz's house and was wondering why Andre was pregnant which was part of Andre's role. I found it weird that the audience (laugh track) was wooing because Tori kissed Rex in the lips but it was a funny moment. It was hilarious when eliminators Robbie, Cat, Jade, and Andre were laughing at the film "Terms of Endearment" which was a 1983 film that is known to be one of the saddest movies ever and the four of them said that it was funny and Tori and Trina's parents keep saying that it is not a comedy. The ending was hilarious that Tori won the method acting and was jumping and gloating. Overall, despite some of the annoyance that were in this episode, it was a great episode of "Victorious". 8/10
