Sabrina Jalees hasn't appeared since Episode 5.20, a span of 19 episodes. This is mostly because of filming her YTV series, In Real Life which filmed during the summer.
First episode with 12 different jurors judging videos at one time.
Boomer also starred in a commercial for this episode.
Thank Goodness Ron Sparks is finally back! This is the first episode with Ron Sparks in more than a YEAR and a half!

Mark Little's first episode as a juror.
Debra DiGiovanni continues to have the most appearances. She has appeared in the past 5 episodes and 13 of this season's 21 episodes so far.
The show adjusts the graphics and format as of this show. The announcer now has a limited role - she doesn't describe official written verdicts at the end of videos anymore. She does announce the videos, but they are listed at the beginning of the episode only. The videos are only listed at the beginning but the font makes it harder to figure out which videos are being critiqued. In addition, they've removed the special billing, jurors now have just "VOT Juror" under their name. This as the show continues to near it's 150th episode.
In the last few minutes, the jurors get gifts from "Video On Trial". Trevor gets an orphan child (stuffed doll) for instance. However, Debra doesn't get anything due to budget issues. Debra gets upset and throws her chair to the floor and stomps away, saying that she's a veteran on the show and she wore these antlers for the episode!
Boomer is dressed as Santa Clause, Laurie is Mrs. Clause, and Debra wears an antler headband.
Although the jurors joke about Miley Cyrus being just 16 throughout her video, she had actually turned 17 on Monday, November 23, 2009 - on the date this episode aired.
Originally this episode was supposed to air as season four, episode 28, but was pushed back into season five.
This episode was originally supposed to air as season four, episode 27, but was pushed back.
Cast Trivia: Marty and Boomer wear ridiculous costumes. Marty is dressed like a baby and Boomer is wearing a white dress. Sabrina wears a fake mole, Debra wears a wig, and Trevor wears a headband.
Madonna's "4 Minutes" has been put on trial 3 times now. (There's got to be more Madonna songs than that).
With this season five premiere, Madonna becomes the first artist to get her very own Video on Trial episode, with all five of the videos getting judged being hers!
Only the "Best of the Worst" episode has featured the same artist more than once in the same episode (for example: Britney Spears and Lil' Wayne). Usually, the producers avoid abusing the same artist twice, even careful to check the featuring credits!
To date this is the last episode by Ron Sparks. Booo!!!
Originally Much intended to air 28 episodes in season four, but episodes 27 and 28 were pushed back and became early episodes in season five.
