Cole's investigates the death of his friend, who was an investigative reporter. The investigation stalls as his only lead is from an old movie star's hologram, who committed suicide years earlier.
Before Cole worked for the CIA, he was part of his family's stunt-driving team that toured the country.
Cole's younger brother spent time in a drug-rehab clinic.
