This episode was a fitting end to Vehicle Voltron. The story here is pretty straight forward which is one of the reasons why it works. This episode shows that "Voltron" does not have to reply solely on action and battle sequences to deliver an entertaining episode. I think it's safe to say that the ending would be obvious. In other words, it was a foregone conclusion that everybody would make it off the planet safely. Regardless, this episode was still very entertaining and fun to watch. Whether you prefer Lion or Vehicle Voltron, this episode will not disappoint any fan.moreless

    • The episode of Armored Fleet Dairugger XV used to create this episode of Voltron is titled "Galactic Dawn." In that episode, as the last of the Gavleston citizens (Drule citizens in Voltron.) are evacuated from the doomed planet, Commander Teles (Hazar in Voltron.) is stabbed to death by three Galveston soldiers who consider Teles a traitor for surrendering to Galaxy Garrison. It is decided by Captain Sirk (Dorma in Voltron.) and Manabu Aki (Jeff in Voltron.) that Teles' body will remain on the planet. Aki leaves a pendant given to him by Haruka Kaga (Lisa in Voltron.) with Teles' body. As the Galveston home world explodes, Teles' body is seen falling into a fissure that opens beneath his body.
