Voltron: The Beast King Go-Lion Season 1 Episode 12

Planet Jarre is one of many planets conquered by the Galra Empire. Galra soldiers force the citizens of Jarre to build a large monument to Emperor Daibazaal. The soldiers show no mercy to the Jarre citizens and brutally beat them if they stop working even for a second. A young boy steals a space ship and travels to Altea barely eluding Galra Imperial Fighters. He begs the GoLion Team to go to Jarre and liberate his people. The team is more than happy to go. However Akira Kogane says travel to Jarre is impossible due to a strong energy barrier that is difficult to penetrate. After impassioned pleas by the young boy, the team decides to make the journey despite the fact that the chances of even making it to Jarre are slim.
