Much to Lotor's anger, Voltron continues to prove as formidable as ever – if not more so. To that end, Lotor wants to fight fire with fire. There are five, dormant robot dragons that can form Dracotron, and he wants them fighting for him. Even Haggar fears the results, but she complies. In the later fight between lion and dragon, Dracotron easily outdoes Voltron. Unfortunately, it is stronger than Lotor and Haggar expected. Dracotron goes on a rampage against anything in its path – prompting an unlikely alliance between good and evil.moreless

Nova-99 is going critical and places an entire solar system's worth of people in danger. It is believed that Glacia's Thunder-Ice can save the day, but getting it and the necessary amount are difficult. This seems like a perfect job for Pidge and Amalgamus agrees, so the genius pilot and Green Lion soon head out. However, Pidge has extra company – the I.G.O.R. cyborg, courtesy of an 'insisting' Zarkon. Unsurprisingly, I.G.O.R. is a threat to Pidge and the mission. He will need help to take this monstrosity down, which comes when Keith learns the truth again.moreless

Zarkon was a fearsome threat to the Alliance five years ago, but many believe him to now be reformed and a force for good. Only a few like Lotor and Haggar know the truth. That changes, however, after Keith overhears Zarkon's true intentions for the Alliance and the rest of the galaxy. Problem is, he is found out and Haggar promptly takes magical action. Keith is now acting like a wild lion, and the rest of the Voltron Force has no idea why. Figuring out the proper cure is even more difficult.moreless

The Voltron Force knows the truth about Zarkon, but they lack proof. Merely keeping an eye on him at Galaxy Garrison just isn't cutting it. Taking more initiative, Keith and Lance secretly follow Zarkon around – ultimately getting all the way to Lotor, Haggar, and Castle Doom. Unfortunately, staying hidden from so many enemies isn't possible for very long. Just getting out of alive won't be easy for Keith and Lance. Things only get worse back at Galaxy Garrison, too.moreless

The Troika Moons are suddenly in great danger. Resolving this mess and saving many innocent lives can only come at a heavy price – the Voltron Force's own Lions. The decision ultimately falls to Allura. What she decides isn't liked by the others, but it creates a major division with Lance, who quits the team. Unfortunately, things will only get worse from there.moreless

Recent radiation troubles have made it impossible for normal life to survive on Geo. However, normal life is hardly what Lotor and Haggar have in mind. The radiation and a shonga egg lead to the creation of Dominus. This massive beast may be more powerful than anything that came before, and the Voltron Force doesn't know what to do about it. As dangerous as Dominus is, he is not evil or purposefully meaning harm. This situation requires a very careful approach from the Voltron Force.moreless

Labored intergalactic negotiations are about to payoff. All that remains is a peace treaty signing by all of the key players, including one Judge Armistice. Problem is, the judge is now a captive of Lotor – but not in order to derail the signing. He has other ideas, which become clear when Haggar's magic temporarily and seemingly repairs his disfigured face. It turns out that Lotor still carries a torch for Allura and plans on having a wedding, whether she gives her consent or not.moreless

The Alliance is made a surprising offer by Lotor – a peace summit to resolve the current violence. Amalgamus accepts the offer, but the Voltron Force remains suspicious. Keith and Zarkon go to meet face-to-face with Lotor, while Lance secretly snoops around. Unsurprisingly, this peace summit is just one big diversion. On top of that, Lotor reveals he can access the Dream Dimension via a special crystal which Haggar had given him. Awaiting him and Lance on the other side are familiar sights – Haggar and Castle Doom.moreless

Zarkon and company are ready for the final takeover of the Alliance. Their only obstacles are Keith, Hunk and Pidge – who don't exactly have much to work with. The three Voltron Force members, though, are faced with a difficult decision once Lance's life suddenly becomes in danger while in prison. Meanwhile, Ariella's spirit and some important answers await Allura and Coran on Arus.moreless

Lotor reportedly threatens Geo, so the Voltron Force heads into action to stop him. Things go very badly, as a mining colony bears great damage and – even worse – Lotor's forces weren't even there. To prevent an even bigger political incident, Amalgamus assures everyone that the Voltron Force will repair the damage. Figuring out what went wrong while working is hard enough, but bickering between Keith and Lance makes it all worse. Mutated space lice give them even greater problems. Ultimately, this is all a Lotor scheme that may be far more than the Voltron Force can handle.moreless

Strength has always been Hunk's most notable quality, but intelligence? Well, he sure isn't stupid, but that doesn't stop repeated jokes from Pidge and others. This leaves Hunk in one sour mood, and a supply run doesn't make him feel any better. If anything, Lotor and Haggar make things worse. Haggar casts a spell on Hunk, turning him against the rest of the Voltron Force and the Yellow Lion quite gray. This destructive duo goes on the attack, but Keith, Lance, Allura and Pidge can't risk hurting them. They need another solution and quickly, as Lotor has a new hostage – Amalgamus.moreless

Five years have passed since the Voltron Force defeated Prince Lotor (as well as horribly disfiguring him), retired and went their separate ways. In all that time since, Lotor is still in prison and Castle Doom's whereabouts remain unknown. Amalgamus and a (supposedly) reformed King Zarkon request Keith and Allura's help in learning the latter. Lotor is in no mood to talk, but something big is clearly going on. With him as evil as ever and the sudden reemergence of space pirates, the Voltron Force may be needed to once again to defend the Alliance.moreless

Amalgamus faces his biggest challenge yet – a TV interview. It turns out that Galactic Action News is doing a Voltron Force special, and they have sent Ueep Ueep Cheremoya to garner as much information as possible. As Cheremoya asks about each Voltron Force member, previous adventures are recalled. This won't last much longer, though – at least if Lotor has his say on the matter.moreless

On Arus, Allura has another conversation with the spirit of her father, King Alfor. Unfortunately, a third person is also on hand – Haggar. As this monster begins a rampage, the Voltron Force have a difficult choice to make – sacrifice Alfor's spirit or let the Crystal Robeast fun free. Before it comes to that, though, Allura tries to reach out to her father one last time.moreless

The Voltron Force has a proven success record, but Amalgamus believes that they aren't really up to the task. 'Research' supposedly backs up his claims – ultimately forcing the Voltron Force out of work. Amalgamus replaces them with robot pilots that can follow orders to a tee. They have already proven quite capable in the lab, and their first field test in the Lions comes when Lotor attacks Outpost Opal. Unsurprisingly, things don't work out the way Amalgamus had calculated.moreless
