  • Trivia

    • Uncredited roles:
Ronald P. Martin (Puppeteer), Ted Jordan (Burns)

    • The remote power switch, located near the winding staircase is never seen again (or previously). Usually, there are weapons stored there, but on one occaision the missle launch controls were placed in that spot. Actually, nothing is ever the same on the Seaview. The series was a continuity freak's nightmare.

  • Quotes

  • Notes

    • From the book Science Fiction Television Series:
David Hedison was apparently the cast clown on the set, playing around between takes. On this episode, Vincent Price asked him (during one of his "particularly
manic phases") "David, when we did The Fly together, you were always so terribly earnest. What happened?" Hedison replied, "Dear Vincent, playing an insect was a very earnest experience!"

    • Screenwriter Charles Bennett also penned the second season's "Escape From Venice", regarded as one of the best episodes of the series. Conversely, he also wrote "Terrible Leprechaun" in the fourth season, one of the worst.

    • Vincent Price worked with David Hedison (under the name Al Hedison) previously in the classic science fiction movie The Fly.

    • The great Vincent Price had a secondary career on Twentieth Century Fox television in the 1960's. In addition to his work on Voyage, he created another classic character as Egghead on Batman.
