Chet is briefly seen on this episode, when he takes Alice on his motorcycle.
Jamie is seen, but not heard.
As the Boyles get ready for church that Sunday, the doorbell rings. It turns out to be the mailman, delivering a summons for Harry! How could that be if mail's not even delivered on Sundays?
When Norman and Alice arrive at Cafe de Luxe Alice reads from the menu on the wall. She states the cheapest dinner is $2.75. However in the long shot, while she mentions the price, there are no prices on the menu and the only readable line actually says "CHEAPEST DINER!" with dinner misspelled as DINER. Then in a close-up of the menu the prices magically appear, other menu items are now readable, the spelling of dinner is corrected and the exclamation point after DINER disappears. However, the price of the cheapest dinner reads $3.25 not the $2.75 Alice quoted.
When the family is ready to go to the dinner, Alice is wearing a modest dress with a shawl, NOT the see-through one.
After Alice tells her father she'll change into a more modest dress, she's still wearing the exact same thing.
North-Star's American of the year is Harry Boyle.
Goof: Once Irma passed by the phone the phone is there but no receiver on it.
When Harry sleeps in the car the sound of his snoring changes with every position he tries to sleep in.
One of the few episodes of WTYFGH to feature the title on screen at the beginning.
