I like this episode because of the way our heroes take down the badguys. The Badguys are usually the instigators of the take downs. In this case,it is Lonnie Redman,he is the son of one of the Chairmans clients. He had murdered in cold blood,or was very high on drugs,a business store owner who had threatened to tell Lonnie's Dad about his putting the big squeeze on him,and the other store owners. The Store Owners were already paying a tax to Lonnies dad,but then Lonnie takes over for his father, and increases the tax by $500 more. The reason being that the extra income would support Lonnies drug addiction. Thanks ,or no thanks to Lonnie,The Ranger Task Force was not only able to bring down another of the chairmans clients, but to take out Lazarus, the chairmans assassin. They really wanted him alive to reveal the chairmans identity, but he fought hand to hand with Walker, and seeing that was futile,he tried to shot Walker. Both Walker, and Rosetti shot Lazarus to keep from being shot themselves.Really good episode.Walker reveals himself to the mysterous chairman, via computer monitor.Really good episode.
So in this episode the Rangers find out the handle of the hacker that has been hacking into the DOJ and other computers. But they have no idea how to contact him, as he is now going by another name. They also know that he must be working for someone, but no idea who that someone is. Back in Dallas, a local criminal is in jail after being fingered for a murder. The witness is put into the witness protection program. The bad guy’s dad goes to the chairman to eliminate the witness. So once again Dallas seems to be the most criminally active city in the country. Well Walker new that this was going to happen and put phony information in the computer and got Lazarus (unfortunately he was killed and not apprehended). Walker takes down another one of the chairman’s clients and confronts him over the internet feed the client had set up.
