  • Lethal injection or the chair??

So another episode involving the death penalty. This time there is a man that killed and Texas Ranger and the state wants to extradite him to Texas for death by lethal injection. But he also killed three cops in Ohio and is sentenced to die there by electrocution. At the very last minute, when he is sitting on the electric chair, a call comes through that he is being sent to Texas. Walker and the Lieutenant in Oklahoma exchange some words about who gets to kill him and why. The point of their conversation (and what has been argued in many death penalty debates) is that death by lethal injection is actually more humane than death by electric chair. Walker makes the comments that if it were up to him he would rather see the man fry. Some can argue that this is because he just wants to see and know that Guthrie is dead. Some people could argue that this is because there is some element of suffering that will go on. You decide.
