The Brotherhood is my favorite episode because of just the storyline and how it shows that you can't take the law into your own hands no matter what.

I love this episode. Three cops are sick of the Dallas courts letting the bad guys get out of jail without any punishment. They take the law into their own hands when they kill whoever is let out of jail because they know those guys are guilty and should not be roaming the streets. A friend of Walker's, Ernesto Lopez, is arrested for the rape of a woman. Walker believes Ernesto is innocent of the crime and bails him out of jail. Ernesto's mother is grateful that her son is out. During this, Walker has been trying to find out who is killing the people being let out of jail. He wants to stop whoever is doing it before an innocent person is killed. Walker learns that evidence has proven that Ernesto is innocent, he goes off to tell Ernesto and his mother. Before he can get to them, the cops gun down Ernesto believing he is a rapist who is guilty. Ernesto is dead. Walker angered by this tells one of the cops he believes did it that he is going to come after them for killing an innocent person(one of the many people they are supposed to be protecting). At Ernesto's wake, Martha Lopez(the mother) is crying and asks Walker why her son had to die. After this a shootout occurs outside in the cemetary between the 3 cops and Walker. 2 of the cops end up dead. The last one gets away and heads back to the police station. At the end, Walker goes to the police station and to the sergeant's office. He tells him from outside his door that it is over and that he is coming in to arrest him. Sergeant Ross realizes he can't get away from what he did and shoots himself at the end as Walker comes in ending the episode. Walker has once again brought justice and the episode ends.
It just cool to me how Walker is right, you can't take the law into your own hands because you could make a big mistake by doing it.moreless
