  • Sweat baby, sweat...

    So there are many times that Walker has talked about going to the sweat lodge for cleansing or searching for answers of a spiritual nature. This is a ceremony that I have always been interested in. When you first show up you get "cleansed" with sage. Then you need to get undressed and cover yourself with a towel. Then you get inside the small lodge where hot stones are placed in the middle. The heat is made from steam by sprinkling water on the rocks. When the rocks have cooled enough that they are no longer producing steam, the watcher that is outside the lodge brings in new stones so no one has to leave the lodge. The time inside is supposed to be spent opening your mind to visions to help guide you. People supposedly have all types of visions. I think that this is something that I would like to try sometime.moreless
